With a time of 2 hours, 39 minutes and 25 seconds, Colombian Elizabeth Castano was the winner of the first stage of the Women's Vuelta a Colombia, which began this Tuesday, August 20, with a route of 101.9 kilometers with departure and arrival in Cartagena.

The first route of the competition began at 10:15 in the morning, the heat was the faithful companion of the 135 runners who faced the opening day. The start and finish were in the walled city, passing through the municipalities of Arroyo de Piedra, Arroyo Grande and Loma de Arena.
