This hilarious video shows the moment a Dolly Parton tribute act left shoppers stunned after visiting her local supermarket dressed like the country star.

Yazzmin Devoy, 27, popped to her local Asda to pick up the singer's newly released prosecco wearing a big blonde wig, leopard print dress and bright pink coat.

She can be heard saying "howdy ma'am" and "howdy cowboys" to stunned supermarket staff and shoppers at the store in her hometown of Warrington."

She said: "I saw that Dolly had a new range of wine and I wanted to go and get some, so I thought I would go as Dolly. "

"I got a lot of giggles and a few beeps in the car park. "

"I got a lot of smiles and laughs, some people pretended to not notice but most people loved it. "

"There was a few funny comments and lots of people taking pictures and videos, it was nice to see people smiling and giggling."

Yazzmin says she started singing from a young age and has always loved Dolly Parton's music.

She became a full-time singer around five years ago but started her Dolly tribute act "Modern Dolly" last year."

Yazzmin said: "I've always sang and I've always had a country twang in my voice for some weird reason. "

"So me and mum started listening to Dolly Parton and I've been a big fan ever since. "

"I've got more into it, probably more in my twenties, but I've always loved her since I was little. "

"I love her music, I love country music, and I love her style. "

"But it's also her personality, I love her morals and she's so sweet and doesn't care what people think."

"I just love that about her, I think she's one of the good ones."

Yazzmin says that when she is performing as Dolly, she uses a lot of her phrases and tries to make the show "quite funny."

She said: "Dolly is quite funny, she's got a good sense of humour. "

"I've been following her interviews for so long, so I know all the Dolly quotes. "

"I also add my own sayings in the Dolly style of humour and I do like to modernise it because a lot of people wouldn't know every single Dolly Parton songs. "

"So I do throw in modern country songs, like the Beyonce one, and I sometimes sing pop songs in the style of Dolly - so there's a bit of everything for everyone."
