"Ao dai, the Vietnamese national costume, has evolved from black and white to a variety of colors. On Oct. 10, the 70th anniversary of the liberation of Hanoi, the Vietnamese capital, it adorned the vibrant streets and alleys."
On Thursday, major landmarks in Hanoi, such as Hoan Kiem Lake, The Huc Bridge, Thang Long Imperial Citadel, and Ba Dinh Square, also became stages for showcasing the culture of Ao dai.
In Vietnam, it's a tradition to wear the Ao dai on various occasions, including festival celebrations, temple visits, and even daily life.
