Newsflare Exclusive- A family vacation in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, took an unexpected turn when an unsuspecting couple pushing their child in a stroller unknowingly passed by a bear in a hotel alley.

The incident occurred as Kennedy ('eternallytired20' on TikTok), filming from her hotel room, spotted the bear and tried to alert the couple calmly to avoid startling them or the bear. Her husband, watching from the balcony, also warned the couple urgently.

The family stopped in shock, just feet from the bear, as they realized the situation. The bear eventually passed by without incident.

I was in the hotel room sitting on the bed and my husband was on the balcony sitting outside with the door open so that we could still talk. He yells for me and tells me there is a bear. He runs down the hallway to knock on our family’s hotel room doors to alert them as well. I start recording and a couple comes up from the parking area pushing a baby in an stroller about that same time. I’m at a loss for words and can see that they don’t see the bear. My priority was to notify them but was worried I would startle them and as a result also startle the bear. I calmly tried to get their attention and my husband also speaks a little more urgently trying to alert them. The couple stands there stunned off camera as the woman looks for her phone.
