I was laying in bed scrolling TikTok about 830 at night. I started to drift off and my diabetic blood sugar tester machine went off because my blood sugar is low so I ate a piece of candy. I ended up falling back asleep for just a few minutes when my other alarm went off, letting me know it was time to take my anabiotic eyedrop. I reached over to my nightstand were both the nail glue and the eye drops were located, and I ended up grabbing the glue. I did not know this yet as I pride open my eye lifted the bottle to drop two drops into my eye. Once the glue hit my eye, it felt like hot lava. I started screaming and crying for my son to wake up asking my device to call my cousin call 911 call somebody. My son came rushing in the room finally I asked him to Google what to do so I started rinsing my eye out in the sink. My cousin then arrived, and we moved the eye flushing to the shower. We did this for about 15 minutes. This did cause a little relief on the way to the hospital that was probably when I was in the most pain. It felt like razor blades and rocks were in my eyes scratching every time I move my eye, even a centimeter. When we got to the hospital, it had just been shift change so it did take us a little bit to get back once we got back in the room they were very fast. They did bring me numbing drops, which is why I was probably so calm in the video. Then I mean drops really really helped. The doctor then came in and looked at my eye with a black light. Seeing that I did have some abrasions on my eye. He grabbed a Q-tip and took out three pieces of superglue that were inside the eyeball. They then proceeded to put a Morgan lens on my eye where they flush my eye with an entire bag of saline. Once that was done, all they had to do was do an acid test to make sure the pH was back to normal. It was it was it was a seven. After that I was able to go home, they explained to me that I should have no reason to feel embarrassed because the amount of times they’ve seen this happen.
