This is the remarkable moment that a cloned Arctic wolf and its surrogate beagle mother were seen playfully interacting, with the wolf pup appearing to bite the beagle's ear.

On July 3, 2024, at the Harbin Polarland, Heilongjiang, the video captured the cloned wolf, gently nibbling on the ear of the Beagle, mimicking a biting motion, which is part of their daily playful interactions.

According to the interview of staff from Harbin Polarland, this cloned wolf, born on June 10, 2022, is noted for its obedient nature towards its canine mother, often serving as a "wolf fur seat" to keep her warm.

The Arctic wolf, the world's first cloned of its kind, was created using skin cells from "Maya", an Arctic wolf originally from Canada. The surrogate mother is a Beagle, chosen for this unique role within the park's innovative conservation efforts.

The park staff described the duo's relationship as a typical mother-son dynamic, filled with playful antics and mutual care.
