SI Cobas union protesters march behind the banner with the slogan 'no to the war economy of capital, international class struggle, no to the security bill! during the demonstrations organized by both the Movements for the Right to Housing and the grassroots union SI COBAS, which joined together in a single march attended by approximately 7,000 people to protest against the Security Decree of the Meloni Government. Numerous squares protested today throughout Italy against the series of rules of the law decree 1660 on security approved in parliament by the Meloni Government and which will soon be discussed in the Senate. The text of the decree law, contested by all Italian social realities because it criminalizes the struggles for housing, for the environment, those of workers, worsening the detention of migrants and reopening prison to mothers, proposing to introduce around thirty new crimes, aggravating circumstances, sanctions and extensions of sentences, affecting any type of public protest.
