17/01/2025 - Rome, Italy. '100 Thousand Lights Against the Clouds of the Regime', the protest demonstration against the Security Decree, the law decrete 1660,approved in the Chamber of Deputies, organized by the social network 'No Security Bill – At Full Regime'.
A few hundred people participated in the Roman edition of the demonstration spread throughout the country '100,000 lights against the darkness of the regime' to protest against the Security Bill and against 'the advancing authoritarian regime' promoted by the network of social realities 'No Security Bill – At Full Regime'.
Last December, six United Nations Special Rapporteurs addressed the Italian Government to express serious concerns about the Security Bill, approved by the Chamber of Deputies and which will soon be discussed in the Senate for final approval. According to the UN rapporteurs, some provisions, if not modified, could be in conflict with Italy's obligations regarding the protection of human rights, as established by the International Convention on Civil and Political Rights.
