Office colleagues inflated balloons into cups as they raced to pass them in a relay game.

Footage shows the employees blowing air into the rubber balloon which filled the plastic containers in Leyte, the Philippines on December 15.

It let them carry it with their mouths to give to their team mates until the stacked cups reached the finish line.

The players erupted into a cheer when there was a winner, receiving 150 PHP (2.02 GBP) each as prize.

One of the colleagues Viviene Malibago said: 'It was a stress relieving game. Everyone was happy with the cash prize. It was the camaraderie that matters.'

Christmas is deeply rooted in Filipino culture, primarily due to its strong Catholic influence introduced by Spanish missionaries in the 16th century. It quickly became the dominant religion in the country.
