Close Call: Red Vehicle Almost Crashes Into Oncoming Car
PALATKA, FLORIDA - MARCH 11: A harrowing near-miss was caught on camera on March 11, 2024, in Palatka, Florida. The video shows a driver traveling north on SR 17, passing a backup in the left lane for an upcoming turn. Suddenly, a car shot between two vehicles, forcing the driver to swerve. Both cars came to a stop in the grass on the side of the road, narrowly avoiding a collision. Moments later, a police car from the left lane backup arrived to check on the situation. The southbound car had attempted to cut between the vehicles to reach a side road, with a northbound driver waving it across right into the path of the filming car.
