Gaza - January 15, 2025 Storyline: Israel continued airstrikes in Gaza on Wednesday despite Israel and Hamas have agreed to a Gaza ceasefire and hostage deal. Israel and Hamas have agreed to the deal after intensive mediation efforts by Qatar, Egypt, and the United States, the Qatari prime minister announced on Wednesday. The Palestinian newspaper Al-Quds reported that on Wednesday night local time, after the ceasefire agreement was reached, Israeli fighter jets launched an attack on the Sheikh Radwan in northern Gaza City, resulting in 10 deaths and 10 injuries. The Israeli army also bombed a house in Gaza City, causing 18 casualties. From Tuesday night to Wednesday local time, before the agreement was reached, the Israel Defense Forces also launched airstrikes on the Gaza Strip, particularly in the northern region.
