Man caught on video attempting ATM break-in in Orenburg, Russia
On January 27, 2025, in Orenburg, Russia, a video captured a man attempting to break into an ATM and steal a large sum of money. In the footage, the suspect is seen using a hammer to break open the ATM’s protective door. However, upon noticing a bank employee approaching, he panicked and quickly fled the scene. According to the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs, the incident occurred at a bank on Volodarsky Street. The suspect, a 35-year-old resident of Orenburg, attempted the theft while the ATM contained over 3 million rubles.
