Wolverines enjoy the trees in their new habitat in Washington
This is the heartwarming moment wolverines enjoyed the trees in their new habitat in Washington.
The playful pair Rainier and Ahma were spotted rolling around their enclosure at Northwest Trek Wildlife Park in Eatonville on January 29.
Footage shows the animals playfighting and scent-marking the recycled plant. They were both born at the park from different litters.
Wolverines are listed as vulnerable or threatened in many regions due to habitat fragmentation, climate change, and human activities. Sanctuaries provide a safe environment for them to live and breed without these threats.
