Recently, after a snowfall in Weihai, Shandong Province, a rare sight appeared on a local beach. When visitors gently brushed away the top layer of fine sand, a pristine layer of snow was revealed underneath, resembling a beautifully crafted tiramisu cake.

Located at the eastern tip of the Shandong Peninsula, Weihai boasts a long coastline. In winter, the collision of cold air from the land and moist ocean air often brings heavy snowfall, allowing snow to blanket the beach. On windy days, the fine sand characteristic of Weihai's beaches can be blown evenly over the snow, forming a layered effect with sand on top, snow in the middle, and sand underneath.

Another theory suggests that during high tide, waves carry sand onto the shore but do not remain long enough to completely melt the snow. As the tide recedes, a layered appearance forms, with sand covering the remaining snow.
