Buenos Aires, Argentina - February 11, 2025 After several hours of work, the City Firefighters controlled the fire that broke out this Tuesday in a 30-story building in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Puerto Madero. The affected tower is located at Marta Lynch 551, between Aimé Paine and Av. de los Italianos. SAME reported that it controlled 50 patients, of which 32 needed to be oxygenated due to smoke inhalation. Three people had to be transferred to the Argerich Hospital, with more complex conditions. An operation was deployed at the site with 41 ambulances and medical motorcycles. The City Police and Civil Defense also worked. According to official sources, the fire started on the 11th floor of the Renoir II tower, and the flames spread to the 19th. The magnitude of the event forced the evacuation of all apartments.
