I decided this week I was going to run to the pier from where I live on west channel in the palisades every day. It was storming and no one was on the bike path but I was determined to run. I was literally trudging through small lakes to get there and back. When I got to the channel which is where I cross over to my street the sight was crazy. I saw workers from the fires who are at the blockade filming it from the bridge but I knew the angle from the beach was crazy so I took my phone out. I couldn’t get my phone to work cause the rain so I had to take the case off but even then the water was in my lense protectors so I had to rip those off too. Got some glass in my finger from that haha. But was definitely worth the shot. Super sad but nature is incredible
