Cape Canaveral, United States - February 14, 2025 SpaceX has once again rewritten the history of rocket reusability, launching a Falcon 9 booster for the 26th time in a record-breaking mission early Friday morning. The rocket lifted off from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station at 1:14 a.m. EST, carrying 21 Starlink satellites into orbit. Just eight minutes after launch, the booster made a flawless landing on the A Shortfall of Gravitas droneship in the Atlantic Ocean, cementing its place as the most-flown orbital-class rocket. Thirteen of the deployed satellites are equipped with direct-to-cell capability, further expanding SpaceX’s massive Starlink network, which now consists of nearly 7,000 operational satellites. This mission marks Falcon 9’s 20th launch of the year and its 14th dedicated to Starlink, as SpaceX continues its relentless push to expand global broadband coverage.
