While at a friend's birthday lunch at the Studley Park Boathouse in Melbourne, John, inspired by the iconic scene from The Little Mermaid, noticed a couple rowing on the Yarra River.

Without hesitation, he began singing 'Kiss the Girl,' aiming to recreate the movie's magic. At first, the couple didn’t seem to notice, but soon enough, the girl turned around.

With a few friends joining in, the impromptu serenade took on a life of its own when the guy leaned in for a kiss, and the group cheered.

We were at a friend's birthday lunch at the Studley Park Boathouse when one of our friends, John, noticed a couple in a rowboat on the river. It reminded him of the scene in The Little Mermaid where Ariel was in a rowboat with the prince and the animals around her started singing Kiss The Girl, so John approached the railing so he could get closer, and started singing it to the couple. At first, they didn't seem to notice, but then the girl turned around. A couple of our other friends joined in, and when the song was finished, the guy in the rowboat leant in and kissed the girl. We all cheered!
