This Short Eared Brushtail Possum was in the henhouse for a few days and there was concern for his welfare
This possum had been in the henhouse for days and the homeowner was concerned for his health, the chickens were actually climbing on top of him and laying eggs on his chest!
After rescuing and taking in for assessment, he turned out to be a healthy specimen and huge at over 4.6kg. He was however a very old boy and probably struggled with the recent heat spell.. He was returned home that evening.
