An impatient dog has learned how to make its owner hurry up and drive home - by honking the horn.

Angela Hamilton, 52, was driving home with her son and dog when she pulled over to get some mail out of the mailbox.

While she was retrieving the mail, her American bulldog, Jillybean, climbed into the passenger seat and started honking the horn.

Angela said she was "shocked" and found it "hilarious."

Now whenever Angela gets out of her car with Jillybean inside, she climbs into the front seat and starts honking the horn.

Angela, from Kissimmee, Florida, said: "I got out of the car to check the mail, my son said 'where is mommy, go get mommy,' so Jillybean started honking the horn."

"She was sitting there looking at me; she is pretty amazing."

"That was the first time I had ever seen her do it - it was really funny."

"Since then, she has done it a few times."
