Tradisi Pasola di pulau sumba
Pasola adalah tradisi adat yang ada di pulau sumba di mana dua kelompok berkuda saling menyerang melempar tombak kayu. Mereka mencoba saling mengenai bahkan ada yang terjatuh dan berdarah. Acara adat ini di laksanakan dalam merayakan pesta panen di pulau sumba. Pasola juga termasuk dalam olahraga berkuda dengan latihan keseimbangan dan ketepatan melempar. Tradisi pasola ini di gelar sekali setahun di bulan awal februari di pulau sumba. Dan mereka saling berrdamai setelah kegiatan berlangsung.
