Chicago Henge occurs twice a year when the sunset and sunrise align perfectly with the east-west streets in Downtown Chicago. In the Spring, it coincides with the Spring Equinox. A popular attraction with tourists, locals, and photographers, The Chicago Henge presents a photogenic scene as the sunlight cascades down the streets enveloped by skyscrapers. This sunset timelapse was captured at the Clark/Lake Chicago Transit Authority train station which hovers over Lake Street.
