Susana and her best friend were stuck in Australia Day traffic when a chance encounter took an unexpected turn.

After spotting a cute guy in a nearby car, Susana dared her friend to ask for his number. When she finally did, he kept yelling back, “The number’s on the back!” Struggling to hear him over the traffic and distance, they soon realized, he wasn’t rejecting her. He was driving a work Ute, and his phone number was literally printed on the back.

My best friend and I were on our way back from the beach after spending all day celebrating Australia Day, when we got stuck in heavy traffic. That’s when she noticed a cute guy in a car – the first time we passed him, but then he drove past us. I told her to ask for his number if she thought he was cute. She did – and he just kept saying, “the number’s on the back”! It was hard to hear because he was two lanes over. Turns out, he was driving a work Ute and the number really was on the back… and I managed to catch it on video!
