DOCTOR SUHEYB AL-HAMS SPEAKING TO REPORTER (Arabic) KHAN YOUNIS, PALESTINE - MARCH 30, 2025: At least three people, including two women and a child, were killed in a fresh Israeli strike on Sunday, March 30, local sources reported. Israeli airstrikes targeted tents sheltering displaced Palestinians in the southern Gaza Strip on the first day of Muslims' Eid al-Fitr. The most recent attack hit Al-Mawasi area, located west of Khan Younis, where thousands of displaced Palestinians had taken shelter. The wounded were taken to Kuwait Field Hospital as Gaza's medical facilities struggle to manage the overwhelming number of casualties from the continuous Israeli airstrikes. Despite international calls for a cease-fire, Israel has continued its military operations in Gaza, intensifying attacks even during the Muslim holiday. The Israeli army launched a surprise aerial campaign on Gaza on March 18, killing more than 920 victims, injuring over 2,000, and shattering a ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement. More than 50,200 Palestinians have been killed, mostly women and children, and over 114,000 injured in a brutal Israeli military onslaught on Gaza since October 2023. The International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants last November for Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza. Israel also faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice for its war on the enclave.
