VARIOUS OF CHILDREN PLAYING IN RUBBLEKHAN YOUNIS, GAZA, PALESTINE - JULY 9, 2025: Two Palestinians were killed and several others injured on Wednesday, July 9, when an Israeli drone targeted a tent housing displaced civilians in Khan Younis. Local sources said the strike hit a tent sheltering members of the al-Kudra and al-Neccar families. The attack ignited a fire that destroyed the tent and caused significant damage to surrounding areas. The Israeli army has killed nearly 57,600 Palestinians in Gaza since October 2023, most of them women and children, according to Palestinian health authorities. The relentless bombardment has devastated the enclave, triggering acute food shortages and the spread of disease. Last November, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant over war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.
