On April Fools' Day 2022, Kristin Ross pulled off a hilariously simple prank on her four sons that’s become a cherished family tradition.

She swapped their breakfast for plates of dry spring mix and waited for their reactions. Her oldest son saw right through it and walked away. The second begrudgingly ate it, clearly displeased. Soren, the third, launched into a dramatic interrogation, genuinely distraught. Meanwhile, her youngest lurked from the stairwell, avoiding the prank, until later, when he descended to wage his rebellion.

April Fools Day 2022. I decided to try and do an easy last minute prank on my four boys. I set out their breakfast plates with some dry spring mix on them, and waited for them to come downstairs. The oldest just walked away, knowing it was a prank. The second sat down and started eating it, very unhappy about it. The third, Soren, put me through the wringer with questions, and was absolutely distraught about it. While the fourth can be found lurking from the stairwell, choosing not to partake. It is their favourite video to watch every year (and mine too!)
