Electrified Vegemite Toast April Fools Day Prank FAIL

Australia’s very own Nutty Professor thought he had come up with the ideal prank to pull on his kids for April Fools day.
Using a high voltage mini camera battery and some wires he electrified the vegemite on a piece of toast. Vegemite is an iconic Australian spread made from the yeast extract of brewed beer and salt. The salty nature actually gives the vegemite excellent electrical conductive properties.
He then attempted to get his kids to try the toast. Unfortunately, the father Jacob Strickling has pulled one too many Science pranks on his kids and they were quite wary and so were able to detect the hidden wires. Nevertheless their responses were still quite funny.
Quite surprisingly when he tried the toast himself he actually found it quite exhilarating! The combination of the vegemite and the electrification was actually quite ‘zingy’ and appealing to the senses. Jacob thinks he might have stumbled onto a new trend in eating ‘Electrified Food’! You heard about it here first!
