On March 31, a rescuer rappels to the higher levels of the rubble to search for people trapped after earthquakes hit neighboring Myanmar, in Bangkok, Thailand. The number of deaths continues to rise in both Myanmar and Thailand in the aftermath of the twin earthquakes. International assistance has begun arriving, with rescue teams from the United States, Japan, China, and India joining efforts in the region to aid affected communities. The death toll has climbed to 17, with 32 people injured and 83 others remaining missing, the local disaster management authority said on Sunday.
