Cockatoo steals French fries from restaurant table in Australia
This is the amusing moment a cockatoo stole French fries from a restaurant table in Australia.
A holidaymaker had finished her meal when the ravenous parrot snatched two pieces of fries from a bowl on April 27.
Footage shows the white bird grabbing the snack with its beak and casually walking towards the edge of the table before munching on the food.
The filmer said: 'I was shocked to see the bird just casually taking food from me. It was a fun encounter.'
Wild cockatoos are omnivores, feeding on seeds, nuts, fruits, and sometimes small insects. They are also known to forage in urban areas, often causing mischief by stealing food from outdoor tables or gardens.
