Berlin, Germany - April 25, 2025 With blue-and-white flags waving and the aroma of Israeli delicacies filling the spring air, people gathered Friday, April 25, 2025, at Berlin’s Wittenbergplatz to celebrate Israel Day 2025. People came together to honor the Jewish state and its vibrant culture. Israeli Ambassador to Germany Ron Prosor was among the central figures of the event. He emphasized the unbreakable bond between Germany and Israel and the urgent need to push back against rising antisemitism across Europe. Prosor took time to visit several of the vibrant booths and displays lining the square. He spoke with exhibitors offering Israeli street food and explored stands, sharing insights into Israeli history, religion, art, tourism, and education. Joining Prosor was Rabbi Yehuda Teichtal, leader of the Chabad community in Berlin and a tireless advocate for Jewish life in the city.
