VARIOUS DRONE SHOTS OF GOLYAZI PENINSULA AND BOATS UNDER SUNSETBURSA, TÜRKİYE - MAY 6: A breathtaking sunset over the historic Golyazi Peninsula, believed to have been inhabited for nearly 2,600 years, was captured by drone in northwestern Türkiye’s Bursa province on Tuesday, May 6. Built on the ruins of the ancient city of Apollonia ad Rhyndacum, Golyazi is a significant historical settlement in Türkiye’s northwestern Bursa province. The area, often dubbed the “Little Venice” due to rising lake waters that sometimes reach the front steps of houses during heavy rainfall, is known for its picturesque landscape and natural beauty. Listed among “Europe’s 30 most beautiful towns” by the Japan Association of Travel Agents (JATA), Golyazi attracts many visitors, especially in the spring and summer months. Visitors to the region can enjoy boat tours on Lake Uluabat, which surrounds the peninsula, offering a serene and scenic experience. Reporting by Fatih Capkin // Writing by Mustafa Tuncer
