Smoke rises from brush fire in Edmonton, Canada
This is the dramatic moment a large plume of smoke rises from a brush fire in Edmonton, Canada.
The massive blaze reportedly broke out near 86 Street and 104 Avenue, close to the west leg of Anthony Henday Drive, on May 6.
Firefighters promptly rushed to the scene to contain the flames. Multiple businesses in the area were also evacuated as a precaution.
Footage shows thick clouds of smoke billowing across the city on Tuesday afternoon.
The fire occurred as dry, hot weather and strong winds increased wildfire risk across Alberta.
