A hungry bear was filmed breaking into a woman's car and making off with a bag of apples.

Olga Kovalevich filmed the wild encounter during her stay in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, on May 17.

She told Newsflare: "Before this, I had only seen bears in a zoo! I guess this is normal in the Smoky Mountains? A couple of them showed up at the women’s retreat and tried every car's handle, the ones that were unlocked, they climbed into and helped themselves to whatever food was left over."
