Los Angeles, United States - May 23, 2025 05/22/2025 11:49 pm GMT-0700 THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. – Ventura County Sheriff’s deputies responded to reports of an assault with a deadly weapon in the area of Calle Diamonte and Calle Turquesa. The Ventura County Fire Department was also dispatched for reports of a stabbing linked to the same incident. Upon arrival, deputies found a male victim bleeding profusely. He was transported to a hospital in an unknown condition. Authorities continued to search the area for either an additional victim or a suspect, as a blood trail was observed leading away from the scene. Although the fire department initially reported a stabbing, a bloody sledgehammer was discovered at the location.
