JABALIA, GAZA STRIP, PALESTINE - MAY 24, 2025: Israel carried out an airstrike on Jabalia in the northern Gaza Strip on Saturday, May 24. Footage captured smoke rising from the targeted area following the attack. Earlier the same day, Israel killed at least 47 more Palestinians in ongoing deadly strikes across the Gaza Strip, prolonging its genocide that has continued for more than 19 months. Rejecting international calls for a ceasefire, the Israeli army has pursued a genocidal war against Gaza since October 2023, killing more than 53,900 Palestinians, most of them women and children. Last November, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.
