US: Turkish national team holds first training session in the US

VARIOUS OF TRAINING SESSIONMASSACHUSETTS, US - JUNE 3, 2025: The Turkish national football team held its first training session in the United States on Tuesday, June 3, ahead of upcoming friendlies against the US and Mexico. The session took place at the training facilities of Major League Soccer club New England Revolution, with the first 15 minutes open to the media. Under the direction of head coach Vincenzo Montella, all players in the squad participated in a workout that began with running and warm-ups, followed by passing drills. During the session, Montella called the team together to congratulate defender Merih Demiral, who recently won the AFC Champions League title with Saudi side Al Ahli. The team will continue preparations with another training session scheduled for Tuesday. Türkiye will face the United States on Saturday, June 7, and Mexico on Wednesday, June 11.
