Titusville, United States - June 10, 2025 SpaceX launched 23 Starlink satellites from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station on Tuesday morning. The Falcon 9 rocket lifted off at 9:05 a.m. EDT, carrying the Starlink 12-24 mission into orbit. Thirteen of the satellites are equipped with SpaceX's new Direct to Cell capabilities, designed to eliminate mobile dead zones. The mission marked the 12th flight for Falcon 9 booster B1083. It had already supported six previous Starlink launches. About 2.5 minutes into flight, B1083 separated from the upper stage. Six minutes later, the booster completed a landing burn and touched down on the droneship Just Read the Instructions, stationed in the Atlantic Ocean. The rocket’s upper stage continued its burn to deliver all 23 satellites into low Earth orbit. Roughly one hour into the mission, the satellites were successfully deployed and began maneuvering into position. SpaceX’s Starlink network now includes more than 7,000 satellites, providing high-speed internet around the globe. This launch marked SpaceX’s 71st Falcon 9 mission of 2025 and the 53rd Starlink deployment of the year.
