PALESTINIANS CARRYING DEAD BODY KHAN YOUNIS, GAZA STRIP, PALESTINE - JUNE 13: Israel’s relentless military offensive on the Gaza Strip persisted on Friday, June 13, with reports of civilian casualties and intensified attacks near critical infrastructure, including hospitals. According to the Palestinian news agency WAFA, at least 10 civilians were killed and dozens more wounded as Israeli forces continued their bombardment across Gaza. In the southern city of Khan Younis, artillery shells struck near Nasser Hospital, prompting evacuation warnings and raising fears of forced displacement. Meanwhile, Israeli media reported a potential full-scale siege on the occupied West Bank, with large troop deployments observed in the area. The Israel Hayom newspaper indicated that heavy military reinforcements were being moved into the region, escalating concerns of further violence amid Israel’s ongoing war in Gaza. The latest strikes come as Israel launched large-scale attacks on Iran early Friday, heightening fears of a broader regional conflict. Since early March, Israel has blocked all border crossings into Gaza, cutting off vital humanitarian aid despite warnings from relief agencies of imminent famine among the enclave’s 2.4 million residents. Israel has ignored international calls for a ceasefire, continuing its military campaign in Gaza since October 2023. Palestinian authorities report that over 55,200 people, mostly women and children, have been killed in the offensive.
