SHOTLIST IRAN (JUNE 13, 2025) (USERS MUST CREDIT "STATE OF ISRAEL", MUST NOT OBSCURE LOGO — EDITORIAL USE ONLY) 1. VARIOUS AERIAL SHOTS OF MISSILE LAUNCHERS BEING HITIRAN (JUNE 13, 2025) ((USERS MUST CREDIT "STATE OF ISRAEL", MUST NOT OBSCURE LOGO — EDITORIAL USE ONLY) The Israeli army said Friday, June 13, it carried out airstrikes targeting missile launchers and unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) infrastructure in Iran, claiming to have killed a top commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). In a statement on X (formerly Twitter), the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) shared footage of warplanes taking off and conducting strikes, stating that the Israeli Air Force "continues to strike missile launchers and infrastructure used for launching UAVs in Iran." The IDF claimed that among those killed was Gen. Amir Ali Hajizadeh, a senior commander of the IRGC’s Aerospace Force, describing him as "a central figure in Iran, responsible for direct aerial attacks on Israel." According to the Israeli military, Hajizadeh was assassinated when fighter jets struck an underground command center. The army also alleged that Taher-pour, commander of the UAV Force, and Davoud Shaykhian, commander of the Air Force Aerial Command, were killed in the same attack. Iran’s official news agency IRNA later confirmed Hajizadeh’s death, reporting that he and several IRGC Aerospace Force members were killed in the Israeli strikes. Later on Friday, Iranian media reported new explosions in the capital, Tehran. Footage shared by local outlets showed powerful blasts in the western part of the city. Iran’s Press TV Breaking reported that air defenses intercepted an Israeli missile south of Tehran. Earlier on Friday, Israel launched a massive airstrike involving around 200 aircraft, targeting Iran’s nuclear program and long-range missile capabilities, according to Israeli sources. The attack reportedly killed multiple senior military officials and nuclear scientists. Iran condemned the strikes, vowing "severe punishment" and calling for an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council to hold Israel accountable. Writing by Sibel Uygun
