No Kings Day, also known as No Kings protests or No Dictators Day, was a series of demonstrations that took place on June 14, 2025. The protests were held across the United States to reject authoritarian politics and to protest President Donald Trump's policies and actions during his second term. The protests were organized by Indivisible and a coalition of pro-democracy partner organizations. The events took place on Flag Day, the same day as the 250th Anniversary Parade of the U.S. Army and Trump's 79th birthday.
Organizers estimated that over 2,100 events were held in nearly 2,000 locations nationwide, including cities, towns, and community spaces. Crowds gathered in many cities, including Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Portland, San Francisco, Seattle, St. Paul, Tucson, and Washington, D.C. Some say the turnout rivaled, and may have exceeded, the 2017 Women's March.
Some of the protests included marches, rallies, and demonstrations. For example, in Los Angeles, protesters lined the streets and parks, and some danced in Van Nuys. In Portland, several demonstrations merged into one and marched peacefully through downtown. In San Francisco, protesters formed a human banner at Ocean Beach and demonstrated against recent federal deportation operations. In Washington, D.C., demonstrators gathered in Logan Circle, near the parade, and outside the White House.
