A woman joined other fans in dressing up as rapper Pitbull for his concert but instead of wearing a bald cap, she actually shaved her head.

Sabrina Brück, 26, bought tickets for Pitbull's concert in Antwerp, Belgium, back in February but only decided a week before the show to go for the chop.

Sabrina had always wanted to try having a shaved head but initially planned to wait until she was older - until this opportunity arose.

After seeing fans show up in Pitbull costumes at other concerts, Sabrina decided to go the extra mile and shaved her head a week before the event.

Sabrina, an artist from Antwerp, said: "It had always been on my bucket list to shave my head but I had thought I'd wait until I was older like 30."

"But when this chance came up, I thought why not?!"

"I shaved my head in its totality using my boyfriend's shaving stuff then used his shaving cream and razor to clean it up on the day."

"I got fully dressed up in my Pitbull suit, drew on a goatee and me and my friends had a great time at the concert."

Sabrina now intends to keep the shaved head for a while, at least through the summer to enjoy the coolness.

She expected to have a stronger emotional reaction to suddenly having no hair—but ended up realizing it all felt pretty normal.

Sabrina said:

"Because this was something that I had planned to do, I wondered how I would feel once my head was shaved."

"But when I walked around for a week before the concert, I realised I felt no different."

"It made me realise that it's just hair and aside from shower's taking a shorter time, it hasn't made a big difference to my life."
