TUBAS, WEST BANK, PALESTINE - JUNE 20, 2025: Israeli forces conducted a raid in the West Bank city of Tubas on Friday, June 20, blocking roads, enforcing a curfew, storming homes, causing property damage, and detaining numerous Palestinians. Israel is moving to impose a complete siege on the occupied West Bank, Israeli media reported on June 13. Heavy contingents of Israeli forces were reportedly being moved to areas in the West Bank, according to the Israel Hayom newspaper. The report came amid Israel’s ongoing genocidal war in Gaza and its latest wave of large-scale strikes on Iran, which have raised concerns of further regional conflict. Since the start of Israel’s assault on Gaza on Oct. 7, 2023, 977 Palestinians have been killed and more than 7,000 injured in the West Bank by Israeli forces and settlers, the Palestinian Health Ministry said. In a landmark opinion last July, the International Court of Justice declared Israel’s occupation of Palestinian territory illegal and called for the evacuation of all settlements in the West Bank and East Jerusalem.
