Lebanon - January 21, 2026 For the second time this week: IDF attacks Hezbollah organization infrastructure located in the heart of the civilian population in southern Lebanon The IDF recently attacked Hezbollah infrastructure in several areas in southern Lebanon. As part of the attacks, the IDF attacked weapons depots and an underground site used to store weapons by the organization Hezbollah in Lebanon. The infrastructures that were attacked were located in the heart of a civilian population, which is another example of the organization Hezbollah's cynical use of Lebanese citizens as human shields and of the organization's activities from civilian assets. Prior to the attacks, many steps were taken to reduce the chance of harming civilians, including the use of precision weapons, advance warnings to the population in the area, aerial observations and additional intelligence information. The activity of the organization Hezbollah at these sites for the purpose of rehabilitating the organization constitutes a violation of the understandings between Israel and Lebanon and a threat to the State of Israel. The IDF will continue to act to eliminate any threat to the State of Israel
