VARIOUS OF TURKISH FOREIGN MINISTER HAKAN FIDAN CHAIRING CLOSING SESSION OF OIC GATHERING (NO SOUND) ISTANBUL, TÜRKİYE - JUNE 22, 2025: Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan chaired the closing session of the 51st Council of Foreign Ministers Meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) held in Istanbul on Sunday, June 22. Türkiye hosted the 51st session under the theme The OIC in a Transforming World. Heads of delegation from participating countries included 43 ministers and five deputy ministers. In addition to representatives from OIC-affiliated institutions, the meeting also saw high-level participation from nearly 30 international organizations, including the UN, Arab League, Gulf Cooperation Council, Black Sea Economic Cooperation, Developing Eight (D-8), Economic Cooperation Organization, Organization of Turkic States, International Organization for Migration, and the World Trade Organization. On the sidelines of the 51st Session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Turkish Foreign Minister Fidan also held meetings with Asaad al-Shaibani from Syria, Shaya Zindani from Yemen, Abbas Araghchi from Iran, Mohamed Ali Nafti from Tunisia, and lastly, Fuad Hussein from Iraq, the Turkish Foreign Ministry said on X.
