The leaders were welcomed by Dutch Prime Minister Dick Schoof and NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan also shook hands with Schoof and Rutte and posed for a photo. During the family photo session held after the official welcome, UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer stood to Erdogan’s right, while Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson was to his left. Following the photo session, President Erdogan had a brief chat with US President Donald Trump before the summit meeting. The leaders then proceeded to the Heads of State and Government Meeting.
