Girlfriend mistakenly grabs stranger's hand while walking with partner
A girlfriend was left embarrassed when she accidentally grabbed a stranger's hand, mistaking him for her partner.
Carmella Costibolo was strolling down a street with her boyfriend Renz, unaware that he had stopped walking behind her in Pasig, the Philippines.
Footage shows Carmella reaching out and tugging on the arm of a passing jogger, thinking it was Renz.
She looked confused when the man did not respond or offer his hand until she glanced at his face and realised the mix up.
Carmella said: ‘We were walking, but he was busy vlogging. I did not notice he had fallen behind.'
Another man, coincidentally, had been jogging beside her at the exact moment.
She reached out to him, but the stranger who was equally confused kept his distance.
Carmella added: ‘I only realised what happened when I saw the jogger's face and heard my boyfriend shouted hey from behind. It was so embarrassing.'
The couple later laughed about the awkward moment, with Renz teasing her over it on June 22.
