GAZA, PALESTINE - JUNE 27, 2025: A series of Israeli airstrikes and artillery attacks across the Gaza Strip since Friday morning killed at least 54 Palestinians, including nine aid seekers, as Israel’s genocidal war on the besieged enclave continues unabated. Footage shows search and rescue operations on Al-Thawra Street in Gaza City, after the Israeli army targeted a residential building, killing and injuring several people. The wounded and the dead were transported to a nearby hospital, while surrounding buildings also sustained damage in the attack. Rejecting international calls for a ceasefire, the Israeli army has pursued its genocide against Gaza since October 2023, killing nearly 56,300 Palestinians, most of them women and children. Last November, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza. Israel also faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice for its war on the enclave.
