GAZA, PALESTINE - JUNE 27, 2025: Footage captured the moment an Israeli strike targeted a residential building in Al-Shati refugee camp, west of Gaza City on Friday, June 27. The Israeli army struck a previously evacuated house in the camp, causing severe damage to multiple nearby buildings. Thick plumes of smoke were seen rising from the area following the attack. A series of Israeli airstrikes and artillery attacks across the Gaza Strip since Friday morning killed at least 54 Palestinians, including nine aid seekers, as Israel’s genocidal war on the besieged enclave continues unabated. Rejecting international calls for a ceasefire, the Israeli army has pursued its genocide against Gaza since October 2023, killing nearly 56,300 Palestinians, most of them women and children. Last November, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza. Israel also faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice for its war on the enclave.
