In the video, the author and her friend are seen soaked despite holding umbrellas, as heavy rain pours down and dark storm clouds engulf the skyline. The Eiffel Tower, barely visible through the downpour, seemingly vanishes into the storm. Reports stated that the severe weather caused flooding, toppled trees, power outages, and even a leak in the French parliament’s roof.
