A zoo in the coastal city of Antalya has taken precautions to protect the occupants as the temperatures exceeded 41°C (105°F). Nearly 1600 animals in 115 species effected negatively at Antalya Wildlife Park are cooled off with specially prepared frozen cocktails and jets of water, on Wednesday July 2. Zookeepers that try to protect the park residents from heat, prepares iced, cold and low calorie fruit cocktails suitable for all animals’ summer diet.
